Institute of Communication and Information Technology (ICIT), Mokokchung was setup under the Third Technician Education Project, assisted by the World Bank in the year 2003 with an objective to impart high quality technical education along with professional ethics and values. We offer the Three years Diploma Courses in Three Engineering disciplines namely, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication. This Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and is governed by the State Council for Technical Education, Directorate of Technical Education Nagaland. The Institute has a well-qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching faculty, supporting and administrative staff members. It has well equipped Computer and Electronics (Analog and Digital) Laboratories. The Institute also has well established Library with good internet facility.
